Recap of my week

I've done a lot over this week. I went to a career counselor, she was really good and very action oriented. I sometimes go with career counselors and they just say something simple and then thats it. It didn't help me but she was great! I need to research what I need to do to get the career I want.. I went to a career fair and got some info. I also tried out toastmasters, honestly scared, because I feel like I don't have a lot to share. Thennn I went to a job interview. Ugh man I was so sloppy. Ok I need to learn how to be professional

Professional tips 101-
1)Be on time for interviews
2)Don't let work sit, I need to ask questions if I don't know
3)Keep a list of things needed to do for the day
4)Wear things work appropriate
5)Be polite.. cover your mouth if your coughing
6)Don't leave stuff on the chair since people might use it
7)Let people know if you aren't coming or coming in late
8)If you are working in customer service, need to respond to people within 24 hours..
9)Respond to emails when you see em
10)Most importantly, be yourself- don't try try to mold yourself to the other person's management- don't lose yourself!

Very imperative that I keep learning  and just actively doing things. It's very hard when I'm not in a structure anymore and I don't have teachers handing me work to do. I have to hunt for work to do now.
