Do you know the feeling when you see everyone around you is getting ahead career wise who's the around the same age as you?
It sucks.
But hey, everyone is at a different pace in life.. so focus on yourself.
I try not to let it get to me. I am going to print out motivational things on the web I found and tape it around my walls. That will help fuel my energy to keep working and chuggin along.
I finally found classes online that aren't difficult for a beginner like me. I'm soo happy about it. It's perfect fit. Unfortunately found it kinda late.. after taking classes from community college, having to pay $500 for something I couldn't even wrap my head around. Definitely start to the bottom and work your way up. Its through the library, and they offer various courses such as programming, html, self development, sales, google analytics, etc! It's freakin awesome, and its all for free. Highly highly suggest checking this out before forking so much $$$ on classes that don't really help you. It doesn't help with the networking portion that you get when you have in-person classes but you learn and its FREE, take advantage of it. they even have refresher courses like grammar and math (haha, yes you start forgetting even the basic shit -_-)
To sum it up-
If you are struggling to keep working, print out inspirational quotes. Quotes where people have worked their way up from the bottom when nobody else helping them.
Also, if you have some extra $$, try to get a gym membership.. you need to take care of yourself and just think of your well being. It's easy to get depressed when you have no structure in life once you're out of school.
Take those classes offered by the library. I am already punching myself thinking whyy didn't I find this sooner? Why, why, why?? quote from my marketing teacher when I bombed the presentation lol.
